THE DAY Asakusabashi @ February 5 and 6
Hello.
Last weekend, THE DAY ASAKUSABASHI was fully booked all day long, and our staff in charge of previews were able to see the facility with many different people and greeted the week with very good faces.
Thank you very much to everyone who came in spite of the bad weather!
And to those of you who have decided to move in, we hope you are looking forward to your new facility and your new life!
Continuing from the previous preview report (1), we would like to report on our interview with Mr. Midorikawa, the person in charge of the preview.
**************
-What are your impressions of the house? What kind of house do you think it will be?
I had the impression that many of them were calm.
Perhaps it is because the concept is "work x life / one person at a time," or perhaps it is because everyone works individually and occasionally goes to the living room for a casual conversation.
Overall, I felt that the community would have a sense of distance between residents. When relaxing in the LDK, we would talk about our work or interests, and naturally become acquainted with each other.
It's not the same as "making friends." I get along better with them than I do with people at work, but not as well as my friends in my hometown. But not as close as my friends in my hometown. It's just right in between.
It felt like that kind of gathering of adults who could maintain a certain distance.

>>I see. When you hear about a share house, you think, "Everyone eats dinner and drinks together every day, and every week someone has a birthday party! There are lots of events that bring everyone together! I guess you get the image of a share house.
Of course, there are those who need to spend time with their friends and spend time enjoying themselves, and there are those who are comfortable with a moderate distance, such as the people who came to the preview this time, where each person maintains his or her own time and space,
In any case, I am personally really looking forward to seeing what kind of atmosphere it will have!
But on the other hand, when asked, "Why did you decide to live in a share house?" one of them said, "The way I work now might be a little different. I'm wondering if I should continue to live like this, working remotely and only using a computer, with no human interaction. I wonder if I have to live like this.
These words really sunk in.
In this era of this kind of work style, the relationships and connections that share houses have with other people are a necessary element for some people.

>>Yes, this issue is indeed a big one...
For example, there are some people who have to work from home all the time due to security issues, and sometimes they don't speak a word all day. Or if they do, it's only when they are on zoom.
Although THE DAY is a life that can be completed in a private room as each room is equipped with a water supply, it may still be a life where having someone in the living room or workspace is especially appreciated in the future.
Green River, this is a great story to hear!
-What are the challenges of future previews?
It is obvious, but I thought that understanding the facilities was the most necessary and difficult part.
How much sunlight each room gets, whether it is possible to dry clothes in the room, whether there is any noise from above or below, and so on. Unlike in a hotel, someone's life will start from now on, so I really felt that I had to check each room individually.
Then there are the security checks. Security on the conduit to the elevators, security for people using the workspace, etc.
>>I know you are concerned about the security aspect. However, I think that is where the fact that it is originally a business hotel will be an advantage. A long-time employee from the hotel will continue to work at the front desk and support the residents' daily lives. Although many people come in and out of the facility, we believe that having someone at the entrance will make residents feel more secure.
-Thank you, Mr. Midorikawa, for your generous preview report! Finally, please share your enthusiasm!
I will do my best!
>>!
**The above is a report on the day of the preview by the person in charge.
Although this is a new residence that has not yet opened, we would be honored if the people who have come to view it and the impressions of our staff can help them envision their new life at THE DAY ASAKUSABASHI, even if only a little.
The open campaign, including initial cost discounts, ends in February, so if you are at all interested, please come and take a look at the apartments. We are sure you will be excited about your new lifestyle.
